PRIMARY 6 UJIAN SEKOLAH
ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022
April proved to be a very busy month for our Primary 6 students as they physically came to school to sit the Ujian Sekolah and Cambridge
Checkpoint. This is the rst time in over 2 years that the students were able to take the 2 sets of exams again. The last time the Ujian Sekolah and
Cambridge Checkpoint were held in school was back in 2019.
The Ujian Sekolah ran from April 11 to 14 and from April 25 to 27. The students were tested on the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science,
Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin. Aside from those subjects the Ministry of Education also required students to take the exams for Character
Building, PPKn and Global Perspectives or IPS.
Cambridge Checkpoint was held from April 19 - 20 testing the students’ knowledge and analytic ability in English, Mathematics and Science
based on the Cambridge Curriculum Framework which our school follows very closly.
The school was pleased to welcome all Primary 6 students to experience and complete the exams in-school with the teachers being really proud
of them for all the hard e ort put in to take part in the Ujian Sekolah and Cambridge Checkpoint during the month of April. The students seemed
excited to be onsite and to do the tests under real examination conditions. They arrived at school on time and were able to do the examinations
within the prescribed time frame. AND of course the students are even more eager to know the results of these checkpoints as soon as possible!
Results for the Cambridge Checkpoint are usually released in August or September just before the October Series of Checkpoints.
The power of concentration is the only key to the treasure-house of knowledge.
