BRIANA
The materials I used to make the roller coaster are cardstock, masking tape,
cardboard, marble (to test the rollercoaster) and a stopwatch. My roller
coaster is 210cm long with a speed of 30cm/s. You can call my roller coaster
“the adventure ride” the ride you will never forget.
IN ACTION
This year primary students have a new lesson called STEAM. STEAM is
an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology,
Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding
student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
Primary 4 students had fun activity in STEAM lessons related to forces
and movement. The teacher set a special mission for the students to DARREN
build a roller coaster. Here is the background story. At the end of last term as part of our STEAM lesson, we were set a project to
build a roller coaster. Before I started to build the roller coaster, I needed to

Your roller coaster must meet the following guidelines:
Roller coasters must include at least two of the following design
elements: turns, loops and drops.
The total length of the coaster track must be a minimum of 3ft
and a maximum of 8ft.
The Primary 4 students created amazing designs which went way
beyond our expectations. Here are works from Briana Milanesa
Susanto and Darren Jevan Paulus Siburian.

Well done Briana and Darren and the rest of Primary 4 students!!
